    This assembly contains
    two
    brushes mounted in the brush holder.
    This is a drop-in equivalent aftermarket part in non-OEM packaging.  We buy these in high volume to bring you the best domestically-shipped pricing on ebay.
    IMPORTANT TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
    There are several variations of these "Little Black Brush Assemblies".  They are all very similar at first glance, however, if you study them closely, you will notice that there are variations in the pedestal height and in the set-back of the holder.  This ultimately results in placement of the brushes in relation to the slip ring.  These measurements have to be right or the brushes will fail or cause damage to the slip ring.  Now, we've noticed that some other folks selling these brush holders are getting these things mixed up... which can lead to some nasty sparks if you think you got the right part, but it's not.  So, study and compare our pictures with your existing part - and if you buy from somebody else, make sure you compare to their pictures!!!  This is really important and we don't want to see you try to install the wrong assembly.  If you are in doubt, contact us and we'll help you verify the assembly you need.
